GIRL SCOUT DAISIES - Petite Protocol Sign In or Register to add photos

Two dozen+ Girl Scout Daisies from Southeastern Michigan earned their Gloria the Morning Glory petal by learning and showing respect for themselves and others at the Detroit GSSEM Service Center. In addition to following Girl Scout traditions-things that Girl Scouts have done for many years by abiding by and following the Quiet sign and giving the Girl Scout handshake, we also learned about where the word etiquette comes from and magic words. We learned that magic words make things happen. We read and learned about the Flower Friends and how to be respectful when invited to a party, rescued Gloria from a maze, and colored beautiful portraits of Gloria the Morning Glory. We then read and learned about magic words from Emily, Ethan and Nutmeg Post. At the end of our workshop, we gathered in our Friendship Circle and sang Taps. Each Daisy received a certificate for completing today's workshop, Petite Protocol and earning their Gloria the Morning Glory petal.
