Edwards Etiquette was selected by the National Association of Urban Etiquette Professionals to host on a very chilly Saturday, April 29, 1st Annual Hats and Pearls Springtime Tea Party at the Universal Masonic Brotherhood Lodge in Detroit, Michigan. The Hats and Pearls Springtime Tea is a national initiative created by the National Association of Urban Etiquette Professionals (NAUEP) to shed light on the need for civility throughout society. In over 100 cities across the United States, local etiquette and debutante training partner organizations held Hats and Pearls Springtime Teas in their communities on Saturday, April 29, 2017. This year's theme, "Celebrating Sisterhood Through Civility" was a gathering of family, sisters and girlfriends for this fun and unique event in honor of civility. It was an honor for Edwards Etiquette to simply be a part of such an initiative let alone to be offered the responsibility of hosting the 1st Hats and Pearls Springtime Tea Party in Detroit which celebrates civility with the passion that makes drinking tea a memorable occasion. Proceeds from this year's event will support the 3rd Annual Summer Etiquette and Golf Camp initiative which exposes campers aged 7-19 to the fundamentals and mechanics of golf such as: grip, stance, short game and full techniques in addition to golf history, theory, rules and etiquette.
