Specialized Experience and Connections That Can Make Any Event A Success

From conceptualizing your event and securing the venue, speaker, entertainment vendors and/or sponsors to developing the guest and media list, to creating your events brand, (flyer, tickets and press release)-I  have extensive association leadership and event planning management experience and welcome the opportunity to discuss your vision. 

I have consistently planned, chaired, or organized community outreach initiatives and high visibility fundraising campaigns throughout Detroit.  A few of which include:

 

Afterwork Fun'Raiser for the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History held each February at Flood's Bar & Grille in which over $1,500 is raised and 200+ museum memberships are purchased and/or renewed

 

Women's History Month Chari-Tea held each March celebrating influence and contributions of women in the community

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Administrative Professionals Day event held in April at the Emagine Theatre recognizing the contributions of office and administrative personnel in SE Michigan

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Ladies Day in May Spring Brunch fundraiser held each May

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pilgrim Village Community Relations Day held each August in which music, activities (ponyrides, facepainting & inflatables for the kids) and food is secured and provided for 300+ people free of charge

  

Annual Gala of Hope, held each September for families and survivors of domestic violence, sexual and substance abuse in which awareness and healing is recognized

 

Afterwork Holiday Fun'Raiser for the Adopt a Child Christmas program held each November at Flood's Bar & Grille in which over $1,000 is raised

 

Adopt A Child Christmas Program held each December  at Cobo Hall in which winter coats, accessories, two (2) outfits and a n age appropriate toy is provided for over 3500 children

 

As well as brunches, teas, breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, employee, anniversary for numerous board, volunteer and employee recognition events.  No event is to large or small to bring awareness or recognition to the forefront. 

Every event is worth the effort.
